on/stby<br />
Turning the Unit On<br />
Press the On/Standby key to turn the Eclipse on. The unit performs self-tests<br />
and displays the current date and time, a message prompting you to check date<br />
and time accuracy, and any error detected during the self-tests.<br />
NOTE: To change the date and time settings, see<br />
ÒConÞguring SYSTEM SETUP MenuÓ on pg. 4-1.<br />
After completing self-tests, the unit displays the PREVIEW screen.<br />
Standby Mode<br />
NOTE: The Eclipse will automatically power down to<br />
Standby mode after 15 minutes of inactivity.<br />
on/stby<br />
To power down to Standby mode at any time during operation, press the<br />
On/Standby key (there is no switch to disconnect power).<br />
The unit is not operational in Standby mode; however, the internal battery<br />
charges in Standby mode if connected to AC power.<br />
The Auto Power Down feature may be temporarily turned off by putting the<br />
unit in Battery Exercise Mode.<br />
Power Indicator<br />
This green light on the back of the unit (see Figure 2-1) is on whenever the unit<br />
is receiving AC line power.<br />
