9 System Setup<br />

9.1 Some Basic Facts<br />

• Press setup<br />

to display the setup menu.<br />

The setup menu with the following options will<br />

appear:<br />

− Operating mode: 12 Lead (6 Lead, Arrhythmia)<br />

− General Settings<br />

− Communication<br />

− Patient Data Setup<br />

− Option Code<br />

At "Operating mode", you will always see the currently<br />

selected mode. So be sure to select the appropriate<br />

mode before entering the setup menu.<br />

• To access the menu options, position the bar<br />

cursor on the option with the cursor keys and<br />

confirm the selection with .<br />

The operating steps to select a setting are always the<br />

same:<br />

• Using the cursor keys and , you select the<br />

option, then you confirm the selection with .<br />

The cursor will move to the next menu item.<br />

• Individual items can be skipped with or .<br />

• Press to exit the setup mode.<br />

9.2 12 Lead Mode<br />

• Use the cursor keys to position the bar cursor on<br />

"12 Lead" and confirm the selection with .<br />

The setup menu for automatic 12 lead recording will<br />

appear.<br />

The angular brackets [ ] identify the system<br />

defaults.<br />

Report Sequence<br />

[STANDARD] (I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF, V1, V2,<br />

V3, V4, V5, V6)<br />

CABRERA (aVL, I, -aVR, II, aVF, III, V1, V2, V3,<br />

V4, V5, V6)<br />

Rhythm Leads<br />

Any three of the available ECG leads can be selected<br />

as rhythm leads. They are printed with report formats<br />

4x2.5R3 and 1x10R3. Formats 2x5R1 and<br />

4x2.5R1 will show only the first of the rhythm leads.<br />

Gain<br />

5, [10], 20, 40 mm/mV, *auto<br />

Report Format<br />

For an overview of the available report formats,<br />

refer to section 5.4 "The Report Formats". The<br />

default format is 4x2.5R1.<br />

Detailed Results<br />

The "Detailed results" page will be printed,<br />

Yes/[No] (section 5.4 "The Report Formats", only<br />

available with option MEAS or DIAG).<br />
