Recording in 6 Lead Mode<br />

− With / you toggle between the two lead<br />

sets (3 each) on the display that belong to the recorded<br />

group.<br />

− When the anti-drift system is enabled, there will<br />

be a short delay before the recording starts. The<br />

ECG will then be recorded with a delay of 2.2 s.<br />

The heart rate limit is automatically calculated from<br />

the date of birth (WHO 100% = 220 - age). When<br />

the date of birth is not entered, the unit will set the<br />

limit at 180 bpm. This value can be changed with<br />

and ( in steps of 5 bpm). The minimum<br />

value for the heart rate limit is 30 bpm.<br />

6.3 Brief Operating Instructions –<br />

6 Lead Mode<br />

• Switch on the unit and wait for self-test to end<br />

• Apply electrodes to patient<br />

• Select the 6 Lead Mode -<br />

• Enter patient data -<br />

• Check device settings<br />

- report sequence<br />

- AC filter<br />

- ADS (cubic spline)<br />

• Modify device settings, if required - setup<br />

• Watch ECG on display<br />

• Check that no lead failure message is displayed<br />

• Start recording with<br />

• Proceed to the next group of 6 leads with lead<br />

• Change the writer speed with format/<br />

speed<br />

• Switch on muscle filter with muscle<br />

filter<br />

• Stop the recording with<br />

• Print patient data with copy<br />
