6 Recording in 6 Lead Mode<br />

6.1 Some Basic Facts<br />

In 6 Lead Mode, the system acquires 6 leads of ECG<br />

in realtime. Recordings are started and stopped with<br />

. Some of the system settings can be customized.<br />

They are labeled with "configurable".<br />

The following information refers to a unit with the<br />

system defaults (see table below). For instructions<br />

on changing the device setup, refer to section 9.3<br />

"6 Lead Mode".<br />

Note<br />

In 6 Lead Mode, messages indicating disconnected<br />

electrodes are annotated on the recording, e.g. Lead<br />

fail V1.<br />

− Before initiating a recording, check the display<br />

for error messages (see table below). Check all<br />

electrodes; if the message persists, there must be<br />

a break in the patient cable. Replace the cable<br />

with a new one.<br />
