Recording in 12 Lead Mode<br />
You will see the transmission menu as shown in<br />
Figure 5-7.<br />
• Check the displayed telephone number and press<br />
to initiate the transfer.<br />

• If it is necessary to change the number, press setup<br />
to display the setup menu.<br />
• With , the transmission can be stopped.<br />
As soon as you initiate the transmission with ,<br />
the unit will automatically dial the number of the<br />
modem at the receiving end and establish a connection<br />
(Figure 5-8). Then it will send the ECG (Figure<br />
5-9).<br />

After the transmission, a message on the display<br />
indicates the number of successfully transmitted<br />
ECGs. As soon as you acknowledge the message<br />
with , the 12 Lead Mode acquisition screen<br />
appears.<br />
The system identifies ECGs that were successfully<br />
sent to the host system with the letter "S" (1, Figure<br />
5-3). All of these ECGs can be deleted with the<br />
command "Delete transmitted ECGs".<br />

If it is not possible to transmit the ECG (wrong<br />
modem setup, modem off), the unit will display an<br />
error message, such as "ECG Transmission Error!<br />
(CSI)" (Figure 5-10).<br />
In this situation you have the following choices:<br />
− you can repeat the transmission with<br />
