Warning
Shock Hazard — Strictly observe the following
warnings. Failure to do so may endanger the lives of
the patient, the user and bystanders.
− For reasons of patient safety, use only the original
patient cable. Before connecting the cable to
the device, check it for signs of mechanical damage.
Do not use a damaged cable.
− Ensure that conductive parts (such as the patient,
connectors, electrodes, transducers) that are
connected to the isolated patient signal input do
not come into contact with other grounded, conductive
parts. This would bridge the patient's isolation
and cancel the protection provided by the
isolated input. The neutral electrode, in particular,
must not come into contact with ground.
