Shock Hazard — Disconnect the power cord from the wall<br />

outlet before cleaning or disinfecting the system.<br />

Use a moist cloth to wipe the surface clean; do not allow liquids to<br />

enter the system. All cleaning agents and disinfectants commonly<br />

used in hospitals and containing up to 70% alcohol are suitable. If<br />

liquids have entered the system, notify Service to have the system<br />

inspected for damage before it is used again.<br />

DO NOT use disinfectants with a phenol base or peroxide compounds<br />

to disinfect the external surfaces.<br />

Disconnect the cable from the system before cleaning or disinfection.<br />

To disconnect cables, always pull on the plug, not on the cable.<br />

Rub the cables clean with soap water, use a disinfectant for<br />

disinfection. All cleaning agents and disinfectants commonly used in<br />

hospitals and containing up to 70% alcohol are suitable. Do not<br />

immerse the cables in liquids.<br />

Discard single-use adhesive electrodes immediately after removing<br />

them from the patient to prevent that they are reused.<br />

Immediately after removing them from the patient, clean reusable<br />

electrodes as described in the instructions for use.<br />
