Click New... to display the user registration window.<br />

1. Enter the user name and an ID number. If you enter the last name<br />

before the first name, insert a comma in between. Otherwise the<br />

name entered first becomes the first name and the name entered<br />

second becomes the last name, when the user is registered in the<br />

MUSE CV system. Please note that MUSE accepts first names with a<br />

maximum length of 10 characters, last names must not be longer<br />

than 16 characters. When sending data to a MUSE system, be sure to<br />

match User ID numbers assigned at the MUSE system to User ID<br />

numbers assigned in <strong>CardioSoft</strong>.<br />

2. Select the user group.<br />

3. Select the user's custom setup (see 11-39).<br />

4. Select the user's privileges.<br />

Edit Data: user is authorized to edit test and patient data.<br />

System Configuration: user is authorized to edit the System<br />

Configuration.<br />

Setup: user is authorized to edit the test settings.<br />

5. Enter a password. Be sure to remember the password. If you forget<br />

it, you will have to contact the GE <strong>Medical</strong> Systems Information<br />

Technologies Technical Support or your local Service Representative.<br />

6. Select the External User check box if you wish to receive data from<br />

remote test stations (at the sending stations, enter the addressee's<br />

name and password).<br />

Note<br />

Do not use any special characters in your passwords. The minimum<br />

length of a password is 6 characters.<br />
