For flow-volume measurements, the patient's cooperation is<br />

essential.<br />

The ambient conditions should be checked every day before<br />

performing spirometry tests; the room temperature is the factor<br />

with the most impact on the test results (see section “Acquisition<br />

Tab” on page 11-36).<br />

Refer to section “Acquisition Tab” on page 11-36 for information<br />

on selecting the Measurement Mode, the Interpretation Mode, or<br />

the Equation for Reference Value Calculation or on entering the<br />
