Ambulatory Blood Pressure Measurement: Setting Up the Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor<br />

Operating Steps<br />

1. Turn the monitor off and on again.<br />

2. Wait for the time to be displayed, then connect the monitor to the PC.<br />

3. Click Connect.<br />

The acquisition screen indicates the memory status of the ambulatory<br />

blood pressure monitor.<br />

4. Click the Clear Data button to delete data stored in the monitor.<br />

Note<br />

If the stored data has not been transferred to the system,<br />

download it as described in the next section.<br />

5. Click Programming to select the protocol.<br />

6. Select the protocol and click Programming.You can choose between<br />

two protocols. Refer to section “Editing the BP Protocol” on page 11-<br />

33 for information on configuring the protocols.<br />

7. Turn the monitor off and disconnect it from the PC.<br />

8. Connect the monitor to the patient (see TONOPORT Operator's<br />

Manual).<br />
