In the pretest phase, Shift + pretest or Shift + F1 allow you to<br />

return to the previous stage.<br />

If a bicycle ergometer test is initiated with the F2: exercise<br />

button, the clock will start even when the patient has not yet<br />

begun to pedal.<br />

When the patient reaches the target HR, the HR reading turns<br />

red and an audio signal sounds (if configured, see section<br />

“Miscellaneous 1 Tab” on page 11-24).<br />

Using the treadmill speed and grade buttons during a protocol<br />

puts the treadmill in manual control. The system is no longer<br />

controlled automatically by the protocol. The system will enter a<br />

new stage and the phase name appearing in the Tabular<br />

Summary will be Manual.<br />
