Meaning<br />
I bow down to Arihants; I bow down to Siddhäs; I<br />
bow down to Ächäryäs; I bow down to<br />
Upädhyäys; I bow down to the universal fraternity<br />
of Sädhus and Sädhvies. This fivefold obeisance<br />
destroys all sins, and is the foremost among all the<br />
auspicious activities.<br />
After performing Samvatsari Pratikraman or Daslakshna, <strong>Jain</strong>s request for forgiveness from all<br />
living beings in person or via mail.<br />
Original Sutra<br />
Khämemi Savve Jiva,<br />
Savve Jiva Khamantu Me,<br />
Metti Me Savve Bhuyesu,<br />
Veram Majham Na Kenai.<br />
Meaning<br />
I grant forgiveness to all living beings,<br />
All living beings grant me forgiveness.<br />
My friendship is with all living beings,<br />
My enmity is totally nonexistent.<br />
