APPLE & CRANBERRY TURNOVERS<br />
1 X 400g can pie apples<br />
1/3 cup dried cranberries<br />
4 tbsp hazelnut meal<br />
2 tbsp caster sugar<br />
2 sheets puff pastry<br />
extra caster sugar<br />
egg white<br />
1. Mix together apples, cranberries, hazelnut meal and caster sugar until combined.<br />
2. Cut pastry sheets into four.<br />
3. Divide mixture between each quarter, placing mixture on one side leaving 20mm edge.<br />
4. Brush edges of pastry with egg white, fold pastry over and seal with a fork.<br />
5. Cut three slits in top of turnover, brush top with egg white and sprinkle with extra sugar.<br />
6. Bake in <strong>Nu</strong><strong>Wave</strong> oven on 10cm rack for 10 minutes, turn pastries over and cook for another<br />
5 minutes.<br />
Tip:<br />
Spray racks with oil or place pastries on pieces of baking paper until turned over.<br />
Absolutely delicious served with vanilla bean ice-cream!<br />
