Topics and speakers are at Sponsors’ discretion; however, sponsors are required to inform the Local Organizing Committee of the content for approval. The above price includes the following: Room in meeting venue Program listing in the Final Program Existing audio-visual equipment One audio visual technician Poster display outside of the conference room Use of the ISTH 2009 logo on the invitations Access to preview room Acknowledgments for Special Symposia, Satellite Symposia and Technical Sessions In the Final Program Logo on screen at the beginning and end of the session SATELLITE SYMPOSIA USD $60,000 each 15 opportunities Wednesday July 15 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM Satellite Symposia are organized by the Sponsor, who is required to inform the Scientific Program Committee of the content for the Committee’s review and approval. The above price includes the following: Room in meeting venue Access for set-up 30 minutes prior to start Existing audio-visual facilities Existing staging and lighting Two audio visual technicians Poster display outside of the conference room Access to preview room Details of the symposium in the Final Program Use of the ISTH 2009 logo on the invitations Advance list of delegates All industry organized symposia or technical sessions must be organized at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center at official time slots offered by ISTH as posted in this 2009 Sponsorship & Exhibition Manual. Companies organizing a symposium or session outside the BCEC and not at an official slot will be fined with USD $70,000 and will not be invited to participate at the two following ISTH Meetings. Sponsorship Opportunities Awards YOUNG INVESTIGATORS AWARDS USD $2,000 each 500 opportunities The Young Investigators Awards are provided in the form of travel grants to medical trainees and young scientists and are intended to assist with expenses relating to their participation at the Congress. This has always proved a useful and popular form of assistance. The responsibility for selection rests with the Scientific Program Committee. DEVELOPING WORLD SCIENTISTS USD $3,400 each 50 opportunities Awarded to ISTH 2009 participants from developing countries who submit an accepted abstract to the Scientific Program Committee. The Award is in conjunction with the ISTH ‘Reach the World’ program and is intended to assist awardees with expenses related to their attendance at the Congress. Awards ISTH 2009 will accept these contributions into an Award Sponsorship Fund that will serve as a pool of funds that underwrite the Young Investigator and Developing World Scientist Awards. All contributors to this pooled fund will be acknowledged in a listing in the Final Program, on signage at the meeting site, and on the website. Award recipients will receive a list of the contributors to this fund as well. Publications REGISTRATION AND CALL FOR ABSTRACT BROCHURE USD $90,000 The ISTH 2009 Congress Registration and Call for Abstract Brochure will be extensively distributed to potential participants around the world. The brochure will contain registration forms, together with the preliminary scientific program, detailed information on registration, abstract submission, hotels, the exhibition, tours, accompanying persons’ program and the social program. Acknowledgments In the Final Program Two full page color advertisements on inside front cover and back cover of Call for Abstract Brochure LIST OF PARTICIPANTS USD $28,000 The List of Participants will be distributed via the delegate bags and will contain the names and contact details of all preregistered attendees who have consented to being listed. Acknowledgments In the Final Program In the List of Participants FINAL PROGRAM USD $90,000 The ISTH 2009 Final Program will be distributed on-site to all participants and will be a regularly used reference during and long after the event. It will contain the final definitive scientific program, the social program and general information about the Congress. Acknowledgments Two full color advertisement pages, one on inside front cover and one on inside back cover Special acknowledgment in the Final Program STATE-OF-THE-ART BOOK and CD ROM USD $90,000 The book will contain the manuscripts of the Plenary Lectures, State-of-the-Art Lectures and selected symposia presentations. It will be distributed on-site to all participants in the Congress bags. In addition, all lectures printed in the book will be available on CD ROM, which will also be distributed in the Congress bags.
