TRA led initiative to improve existing and install
additional lighting on the estate to support the new
CCTV cameras being installed there. The majority of
the scheme will be to light the areas not currently
covered by existing lighting.
S106 allocated from 67-83 Seven Sisters Rd. (£40k,
07/2012) as part of a larger allocation to Andover
Estate.
Investigation ongoing to determine full cost of scheme.
It is required by the TRA and residents of the
estate to help in the prevention of crime and to
safeguard the residents of the estate. It also acts
to give the residents confidence that the estate is a
safe environment.

A long overdue refurbishment and repairs programme
of the
Community Hub. To perform H&S adaptations and
implement modifications to the main hall, increase
security and decorate the building.
S106 allocated towards physical improvements to the
Finsbury Park Community Hub from 189-219 Isledon
Rd (£58,140k, 01/2013)
to address some pressing H&S issues and to
continue offering an appropriate and safe space for
social, recreational, learning, training &
development activities.

The outward image of the three bidding organisations
does not reflect the breadth of services offered nor
adequately show their impact in the community. The
three organizations need to develop a PR and
Communications Strategy to properly position them
and increase success of fundraising activities.
A professionally managed communications
strategy increases the chances of attracting
funding in an increasingly competitive environment.
It is in the interest of the WP and LBI that the
largest members of the ward partnership succeed
in their efforts to attract funding, thus releasing the
pressure for funding and allowing more funds to
flow to smaller organisations.
