Rob received his education at the University of Saskatchewan in<br />

Canada. He was admitted to both the Law Society of Upper Canada<br />

(Ontario) and the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 1993.<br />

Prior to joining Al-Sarraf & Al-Ruwayeh, Rob practiced law in Canada,<br />

where he also lectured at the Bar Admission Course and published<br />

papers on various aspects of commercial law. Rob specializes in general<br />

corporate commercial, capital markets, project work and financial<br />

transactions, and also regularly advises banks and other financial<br />

institutions on both conventional and <strong>Islamic</strong> finance.<br />

Rob has a strong, diversified and practical background in relation to a<br />

variety of commercial, corporate and financial matters and projects,<br />

and working on large commercial and investment projects. He has over<br />

19 years of <strong>legal</strong> experience out of which 12 years have been spent<br />

working in Kuwait.<br />

Rob was recently named as a leading lawyer in Kuwait by a number of<br />

publications including Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, IFLR and Best<br />

Lawyers for his corporate, commercial, banking and finance work.<br />
