Mohd Shuhaimi holds a law degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia. He graduated in 1994 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in May 1995. He has been involved in the Middle East since 1979 and has spent 20 years living and working in the UAE and Oman. Richard heads up the co-ordination of the firm’s Islamic finance practice. He has extensive experience advising banks (including Islamic financial institutions) and borrowers in a wide range of banking and financial transactions in the UAE, the Middle East, the UK and the US and has also been involved in various capital market transactions in the Middle East.
