8.1 Data transfer utility
When you will
use a DATA
TRANSFER
utility:
The Data transfer tool can be used as a stand-alone tool. You can not only upload
the program of a PCD but also the content of registers, flags, counters,
ect.
This comes in handy for different occasions:
• If you change the battery and you make a backup for safety reasons. (In case
of a power loss during the battery change and you loose information)
• If you make data-logs with your PCD and you want to upload the data from
time to time.
• If you want to save the state of your installation at a given moment.
Backup your
PCD :
In case you don’t have the original source file of your PCD or in case you want
to backup all the PCD content (program as well as element content) use the
upload all function:

(Change the port in Setup).
