Click on setup
to select protocol
The baudrate and protocol
settings are fixed for
PGU. The port depends
on what is available on
your PC.
Click on OK to
confirm entries
Now the communication protocol is set. Next, we will connect the PCD to
your PC.
1.3 Connect your PC to the PCD
Basic connection:
The standard connection is the direct connection between the PGU port on the
PCD, and the Com1 port on the PC. Use SAIA cable #K111. There is other
configurations available, but this is the one we are going to use with this
workshop. Refer to your hardware manual for the power connection to the
PCD. Now you should be connected to the PC and the PCD should be on.
