4.2.3.4 Auto Zero<br />
Choose this command to zero the absorbance trace during a<br />
run.<br />
4.2.3.5 Edit defaults<br />
Choose this command to open the METHOD EDITOR [4.3.2]<br />
window from which you can modify the default method files.<br />
To prevent tampering with the default column programs,<br />
access to this function can be password protected using the<br />
SET PASSWORD [4.2.3.7] menu command.<br />

4.2.3.6 Configuration<br />
Choose this command to open the CONFIGURATION [4.3.10]<br />
window. From this window you specify the solvents used with<br />
the module, set default volumes for collection tubes, set the<br />
module date and time, configure network settings, etc.<br />
4.2.3.7 Set Password<br />
Choose this command to open the SET PASSWORD [4.3.11]<br />
window.<br />
The password protects unauthorized modifications to:<br />
•Default methods<br />
• <strong>User</strong> management<br />
• module date and time<br />
• module password<br />
Before any of the above can be accessed, the user must enter a<br />
password. Password protection for the default methods can be<br />
disabled so all users may modify default methods.<br />
4.2.3.8 <strong>User</strong> Management<br />
Choose this command to open the USER MANAGEMENT [4.3.12]<br />
window. Use this window to add or remove users from the<br />
module. This feature allows you to create a working folder on<br />
the module for each user. Use the FILE>SET DATA PATH…<br />
[4.2.1.4] command to select your folder.<br />
To prevent unauthorized changes to user management, this<br />
function is password protected.<br />
