with a “TXT” file name extension. When selecting this<br />
command from a remotely connected computer via a web<br />
browser, PeakTrak displays a file download window so you can<br />
select a location and enter a file name.<br />
(You can open, edit, and print TXT files with text editing or<br />
word processing software.)<br />
4.2.1.9 Import Method<br />
Choose this command to load a Method file from an external<br />
source (see EXPORT METHOD [4.2.1.10]) onto the module’s<br />
internal storage. From the touch screen, this command opens<br />
the FILES [4.3.5] window so you can locate and select the file on<br />
a USB Flash storage device. When selecting this command<br />
from a remotely connected computer, PeakTrak displays a<br />
window so you can select the method file. After selecting the<br />
file, click the Open button to save the method file on the<br />
module’s internal hard drive.<br />
4.2.1.10 Export Method<br />
Choose this command to save a Method file in a location other<br />
than the module’s internal hard drive. This can be done to<br />
archive method files or to transfer the method to another<br />
module using the IMPORT METHOD [4.2.1.9] menu command.<br />
From the touch screen, this command opens the FILES [4.3.5]<br />
window so you can save the file on a USB Flash storage device.<br />
When selecting this command from a remote computer,<br />
PeakTrak displays a window from which you can save the<br />
method file.<br />
4.2.1.11 Export SMM/XL Method<br />
Choose this command to export a method file for use on a<br />
different <strong>CombiFlash</strong> Companion system equipped with the<br />
Solvent Management Module (SMM) or a <strong>CombiFlash</strong><br />
Companion XL system. From the touch screen, this command<br />
opens the FILES [4.3.5] window so you can save the file on a<br />
USB Flash storage device. When selecting this command from<br />
a remote computer, PeakTrak displays a window from which<br />
you can save the method file.<br />
