Note<br />

The pump can be set to shut off or not at this limit condition by<br />

pressing softkey C under shutdown. This will toggle this option<br />

to ON.<br />

5. To exit the limit setpoint menu, press the softkey D, PRE-<br />

VIOUS.<br />

6. Once all the limits have been set, press softkey D, PREVI-<br />

OUS, to return to the main menu.<br />

Limits programming<br />

options<br />

In addition to setting the upper and lower limits, the pump also<br />

allows the user to specify whether they want:<br />

• the alarm message displayed<br />

• an alarm to sound when the limit is reached<br />

• the pump to shut down when the limit is reached<br />

These features are set using the softkeys, A-C. Pressing these<br />

softkeys toggle the feature on and off. (If you press the softkey<br />

once the feature is activated, pressing the softkey again turns<br />

the feature off).<br />

Note<br />

The Max Press (maximum pressure) display on and alarm on<br />

options cannot be disabled.<br />

Display<br />

When this feature is on and a limit has been exceeded, the pump<br />

will automatically flash an over or under limit message on the<br />

screen. If you do not wish it to do so, press softkey A once to<br />

toggle this to:<br />

Alarm<br />

When this feature is on, the pump will automatically beep a<br />

warning when a limit has been exceeded. If you wish to disable<br />

the beep, press softkey B once. The display should change to:<br />

OFF<br />

ALARM<br />

Shutdown<br />

The pump will, if you wish, shut down [pump stop] when a limit<br />

has been exceeded. If you wish to enable this feature, press<br />

softkey C once. The display should change to:<br />

ON<br />

Flow rate limit for pressure<br />

control<br />

When the pump is controlling pressure (CONSTANT<br />

PRESSURE MODE), the flow rate is not set by the operator, and<br />

may range up to the maximum flow the pump is capable of. In<br />

some cases, it is desired to limit the rate of pumping during<br />
