Section 3 Single & Multiple Independent Pump Operation<br />

Note<br />

This option covers all pumps connected to the controller. You<br />

cannot dictate the action of an individual pump.<br />

3.3.4 Resetting the System This option allows you to completely clear user programmed settings.<br />

It will erase all programs and return units and limits to<br />

factory settings. If the ZERO PRESS key has been used, the corrected<br />

offsets will be lost.<br />

Note<br />

This option covers all pumps connected to the controller. You<br />

cannot dictate the action of an individual pump.<br />

Press softkey D, DO_NOT, to return to the main menu without<br />

resetting your system.<br />

CAUTION<br />

Once a system reset has taken place, all programs will be<br />

erased. These cannot be recovered. All user-set limits and<br />

units will be returned to the factory default settings.<br />

System reset<br />

Hard reset<br />

1. Press the orange MENU key.<br />

2. Select number 5. SYSTEM RESET.<br />

3. Press softkey A, CONTINUE.<br />

A hard reset should only be performed when changing EPROMs<br />

for a software upgrade or at the suggestion of the <strong>Isco</strong> Service<br />

Department. Like the system reset, all user programmed settings<br />

will be cleared.<br />

Note<br />

A hard reset will erase all programs and user defined parameters.<br />

These cannot be recovered.<br />

1. Turn the pump controller to STANDBY.<br />

2. Press and hold the CLEAR ENTRY key on the front panel<br />

keypad.<br />

3. While holding the CLEAR ENTRY key, flip the on/standby<br />

switch to ON. Keep the CLEAR ENTRY key pressed for 1<br />

second.<br />

4. Release the key and turn the unit back to STANDBY.<br />

5. Then turn the instrument back ON and execute a system<br />

reset (described above).<br />
