When connecting to pressurized sources, use the stainless<br />

steel tubing without a filter. Due to the wide variety of<br />

pressure sources, fittings to connect to the pressurized<br />

source are not provided.<br />

Manual Outlet Valve<br />

Package<br />

The manual outlet valve package is rated to 689.5 bar. It includes<br />

those items necessary to connect a shut-off valve between the<br />

pump and your system process. Table 2B-3 lists the contents of<br />

the package. Figure 2B-4 illustrates the installation.<br />

To install outlet valve<br />

package<br />

1. Attach the valve to the pump tower, using the valve spacer<br />

and screws provided.<br />

2. Screw the male adapter (P/N 209-0161-01) into the pump<br />

outlet.<br />

RISK OF INJURY. THE PRESSURE PRODUCED<br />

COULD BE 260 BAR. PLEASE UTILIZE THE<br />

APPROPRIATE TUBING AND CONNECTIONS<br />

NOTED IN THE MANUAL.<br />

3. Connect the pre-bent tubing from the male adapter to the<br />

valve, using the nuts and ferrules provided.<br />

4. Connect the 1.5 m piece of stainless steel tubing to the bottom<br />

port of the valve, using the fittings provided. This<br />

piece of tubing should be cut to the proper length for connection<br />

to your process system. Due to the wide variety of<br />

applications this pump is used for, fittings to connect this<br />

tubing to your system are not provided.<br />
