2A.2.4 Accessory Package The accessory packages for all pumps (#60-1249-012 for 260D,<br />

#60-1249-028 for 65DM, or #60-1249-015 for 100DM/DX) contain<br />

Valco fittings for 1 8" tubing, which allow you to attach tubing to<br />

the pump, a reducing adapter for use with 1 16" tubing, and the<br />

appropriately sized cylinder seals.<br />

To install the 1 8" fittings<br />

(Figure 2A-2)<br />

1. Slide first the 1 8" nut and then the ferrule over the tubing.<br />

2. Push the tubing all the way into the port.<br />

3. Then hold the tubing in place and tighten the nut.<br />

To install the 1 16" fittings<br />

1. The reducing adapter must be used. Loosen the 1 16" nut<br />

until it is held by a few threads.<br />

2. Insert the adapter into the port and finger tighten the fittings.<br />

3. Retighten the 1 16" nut until it is also finger tight.<br />

4. Tighten the 1 8" nut with a wrench to crimp the ferrule.<br />

5. Insert the 1 16" tubing through the 1 16" nut until it stops.<br />

6. Tighten the 1 16" nut.<br />

Note<br />

It is recommended that after tightening, the fittings be removed<br />

and examined.<br />

2A.2.5 Drain Tube The overflow outlet on the pump cylinder provides a means of<br />

draining fluid from seal leakage. Use the 1 4" ID flexible tubing<br />

included with the accessory package, to divert the leakage away<br />

from the pump. To install the drain tube, simply place one end of<br />

the tubing over the end of the drip pan outlet, shown in Figure<br />

2A-3.<br />
