5. After pump A has refilled, wait 15 seconds before closing<br />

the tank supply valve and pump A inlet valve.<br />

9.4 Modifier Addition Once the pressure has been zeroed and both pumps are filled,<br />

you are ready to set up your modifier addition parameters. You<br />

will need to place the pumps in modifier mode, set the pressure<br />

limits (under the limits option on the main menu) and designate<br />

the percent of modifier (found under % pump on the run screen)<br />

to be added. If your modifier boils at 3.5 bar at room temperature,<br />

you may want to increase the minimum pressure for pump<br />

B to prevent vapor (the default minimum pressure is 3.5 bar).<br />

1. Press the orange MENU key and press softkey A - MORE.<br />

2. Select 4, MULTI-PUMP, to access the multi-pump menu.<br />

3. Then select MODIFIER by pressing the 3 on the numeric<br />

keypad. The 3 will begin to blink, indicating that modifier<br />

mode has been selected.<br />

4. Press softkey D, PREVIOUS, three times to return to the<br />

main menu.<br />

1. Press the orange MENU key and press softkey A - MORE.<br />

2. Select 4, MULTI-PUMP, to access the multi-pump menu.<br />

3. Then select MIN MOD PRESS by pressing the softkey B.<br />

4. To change the minimum modifier pressure, press the softkey<br />

B and enter the desired minimum pressure using the<br />

numeric keypad and press the ENTER key to store the<br />

value.<br />

5. Then press softkey D, again, to return to the multi-pump<br />

menu.<br />

1. Once modifier mode has been selected, the desired pressure<br />

limits must be set. Select number 2, LIMITS, from the<br />

main menu.<br />

2. The pump for which the limits are being set will be shown<br />

on the top left of the display, LIMITS: PUMP A. If it is any<br />

pump other than pump A, press softkey A. LIMITS: PUMP<br />

A will then be displayed.<br />

3. Press number 1 to select limits and then 1 again to set the<br />

MAX pressure limits. Enter the desired maximum pressure<br />

using the numeric keypad and press the ENTER key<br />

to store the value. Then press softkey D, PREVIOUS, to<br />

return to the limits menu.<br />

4. If you need to change the minimum pressure limit, press 2<br />

- MIN. Enter the desired minimum pressure using the<br />

numeric keypad and press the ENTER key to store the<br />

value.<br />

5. Press softkey D, PREVIOUS, to return to the limits menu.<br />

6. Then press softkey D, again, to return to the main menu,<br />

and D, again, to return to the run screen.<br />
