<strong>2150EX</strong> Area Velocity <strong>Flow</strong> System<br />
Section 2 Preparation and Installation<br />
CAUTION<br />
To avoid overloading the fuses in the LTC2191EX lithium battery<br />
packs, disconnect the <strong>2150EX</strong> module(s) before installing<br />
or replacing the lithium battery packs. The SLA2191EX<br />
lead-acid battery packs do not contain fuses, and do not<br />
require that the <strong>2150EX</strong> module(s) be disconnected.<br />
If you are installing the LTC2191EX lithium battery packs, first<br />
disconnect the <strong>2150EX</strong> module(s). If you are installing the<br />
SLA2191EX lead-acid battery packs, it is not necessary to disconnect<br />
the <strong>2150EX</strong> module(s). Then:<br />
1. Remove the battery door. To remove the door, turn it 1 /4 turn<br />
counter-clockwise and pull it from the Battery <strong>Module</strong>.<br />
2. Align the connectors and insert the new battery pack into<br />
the Battery <strong>Module</strong>.<br />
3. Check the humidity indicator disk inside the door. (See section<br />
2.4.2.)<br />
4. Replace the door. Align the small triangle on the door with<br />
the triangle above the battery port, push inward, and<br />
rotate 1 /4 turn clockwise so the curved arrow is at the top of<br />
the door.<br />
Repeat steps 1 through 4 to install the second battery pack.<br />
When finished, reconnect the <strong>2150EX</strong> module(s).<br />
Note<br />
The battery packs should always be replaced as a pair. Never<br />
mix old and new batteries. Battery packs should be disposed<br />
of according to local battery disposal regulations. The<br />
lead-acid battery packs should be recharged or recycled.<br />
