Site Window - 2100<br />

• Quality - a percentage that represents the number of<br />

valid readings out of the total number of readings.<br />

The Calculated Flow button opens a window that allows flow<br />

rates to be calculated after retrieving the data. This can conserve<br />

memory and reduce the amount of data that must be transferred<br />

between the instrument and <strong>Flowlink</strong>.<br />

To view the details of a particular measurement, highlight the<br />

measurement in the lower half of the window and click on the<br />

“Measurement Details” button. <strong>Flowlink</strong> will then display the<br />

properties of the selected measurement type.<br />

To configure the data storage rate of a particular measurement,<br />

highlight the measurement of interest and click the “Set Up Data<br />

Storage…” button. <strong>Flowlink</strong> displays the “Data Storage Setup”<br />

window.<br />

The Delete All Data button is active when connected to a 2100<br />

Series site. Clicking this button will delete all of the highlighted<br />

measurement data from the module. This is useful when you<br />

want to clear all of the readings from an instrument. This action<br />

does not delete any data stored in the <strong>Flowlink</strong> database.<br />

The Pushed Data button opens the Pushed Data configuration<br />

window. Pushed Data allows 2100 Series sites that include a<br />

Modem Module to send data to an enterprise database server.<br />

Notes:<br />

• <strong>Flowlink</strong> must be connected to the site to view the<br />

current Data Storage information. If <strong>Flowlink</strong> is Not<br />

Connected, the information displayed on this tab is the<br />

“last known” values.<br />

• Modules report “Time” as one of the measurement types.<br />

It is not a configurable measurement; it is only reported<br />

to indicate the number of readings and the amount of<br />

memory used to store time stamps. The module records<br />

time stamps at the fastest data storage rate of the<br />

remaining measurements.<br />

Calculated Flow<br />

The Calculated Flow window allows you to instruct <strong>Flowlink</strong> to<br />

automatically calculate a flow based on actual level or areavelocity<br />

readings collected by the instrument. This window is<br />

opened by clicking the Calculated Flow button on the Data tab of<br />

the site window.<br />

Use this window to add Calculated Flow data sets to the site.<br />

1. Click the Add button in the Calculated Flow window.<br />

This opens the Flow Conversion List.<br />

2. Select a Flow Conversion from the list and click the OK<br />

button.<br />

2100 Series Only - Because 2100 Series sites may include<br />

several flow modules, you must specify which level and<br />

velocity readings to use for the calculated data set. Use<br />

the Select Level and Velocity window to choose the<br />

modules.<br />
