Menu Commands<br />

3. Locate the database and click OK. <strong>Flowlink</strong> then begins<br />

to defragment the database.<br />

4. A window will notify you when <strong>Flowlink</strong> has finished this<br />

activity and whether it was successful or not.<br />

Allowing <strong>Flowlink</strong> to automatically defragment the .MDB<br />

database at regular intervals is recommended.<br />

Database Archive/<br />

Transfer<br />

Archive<br />

Allows you to copy or move data and/or site information from the<br />

open database and to put it into another location. Selecting<br />

Archive/Transfer from the menu opens the Archive window.<br />

The Archive/Transfer function allows you to selectively extract<br />

information from the open database by site name and by date<br />

ranges.<br />

This window, opened by selecting Database>Archive/Transfer,<br />

allows you to copy or move data and/or site information, or copy<br />

ensemble data from a Pulsed Doppler site, from the current<br />

database to another location.<br />

Archive or Transfer:<br />

1. Define what is to be archived: site information and/or<br />

data. If you select Archive to csv, no site information will<br />

be archived, and you will be given a dropdown list of data<br />

types to be archived.<br />

2. If you have selected Data, define the data to be archived/<br />

transferred.<br />

3. Select the Site(s) to archive.<br />

a. Check the box next to Selected Site(s). This makes the<br />

Select Site(s) button active.<br />

b. Click the Select Site(s) button to open the Select Site(s)<br />

window.<br />

c. Check the box next to each site you want available to<br />

archive, or check the box next to Select All.<br />

d. Click OK. The sites you selected now appear in the<br />

window.<br />

e. Highlight the site to archive for each destination. Only<br />

one site may be archived at a time.<br />

4. Select the type of archive - Copy or Move. Use the Move<br />

option with caution; Move deletes the data from the<br />

current database.<br />
