be used to express the data<br />

The options available on the Actions menu will vary according to<br />

what is active on the <strong>Flowlink</strong> desktop. The options allow you to<br />

make selections from the keyboard instead of using the mouse.<br />

When a site is opened on the desktop, selecting Actions>Connect<br />

or pressing F7 starts <strong>Flowlink</strong>’s communications with the site.<br />

When connected to a site, selecting Actions>Retrieve Data from<br />

the menu or pressing F8 starts the transfer of data from the site<br />

to <strong>Flowlink</strong>’s database.<br />

Select Actions>Diagnostics from the <strong>Flowlink</strong> menu to download<br />

and display a text file from a 2100 Series site. This file reports<br />

the performance of the module and its sensor. The measurement<br />

type will determine which information is included in this report.<br />

When connected to a site, selecting Actions>Disconnect from the<br />

menu or pressing F2 stops <strong>Flowlink</strong>’s communications with the<br />

instrument.<br />

When connected to a site, selecting Actions>Apply from the<br />

menu, clicking the Apply button on the site window, or pressing<br />

the F9 keyboard button sends new program settings to the<br />

instrument. This updates the instrument so it will match<br />

<strong>Flowlink</strong>’s site window settings.<br />

When connected to a site, selecting Actions>Cancel from the<br />

menu or clicking the Cancel button on the site window restores<br />

the displayed site window settings to the program settings stored<br />

in the instrument. No changes to the instrument’s program<br />

settings will be made.<br />

The Actions>Switch to Tab menu options select tabs in a Site<br />

window. These allow you use the keyboard to easily move about<br />

the tabs. For example, to view the Data Storage tab of the Site<br />

window press “Alt+A, S, 4,” or use the Ctrl+4 shortcut.<br />

You can also scroll through the Site window tabs by pressing<br />

Ctrl+Tab or Shift+Ctrl+Tab.<br />

Actions>Maximize To maximize a graph, click on the Maximize button on the<br />

graph toolbar, or select Actions>Maximize from the menu. You<br />
