1. Click the Quick Connect button on the <strong>Flowlink</strong><br />

toolbar, or press F11 on the keyboard. <strong>Flowlink</strong> opens the<br />

Quick Connect window.<br />

2. Select the Type of connection- Direct, Modem, Wireless,<br />

or TCP.<br />

3. Check the Create new site check box and then click on<br />

the large button for the type of instrument that <strong>Flowlink</strong><br />

is to connect to.<br />

4. After <strong>Flowlink</strong> reads the instrument settings, it will<br />

pause and ask if you would like to clear the memory<br />

partitions (4100/4200/6700), or delete all of the data in<br />

the modules (2100). Select “No” to retain the data.<br />

<strong>Flowlink</strong> then completes the connection process.<br />

5. Once connected, <strong>Flowlink</strong> adds the instrument settings<br />

to its database and the site appears in the workspace.<br />

6. Click the Retrieve Data button. <strong>Flowlink</strong> downloads the<br />

stored readings and adds it to the database.<br />

NOTE: To retrieve only the data collected since the last<br />

interrogation, press Shift + F8 to open the Retrieve<br />

Options window.<br />

1. Click the Quick Connect button on the <strong>Flowlink</strong><br />

toolbar, or press F11 on the keyboard. <strong>Flowlink</strong> opens the<br />

Quick Connect window.<br />

2. Select the Type of connection- Direct, Modem, or<br />

Wireless.<br />

3. Check the Create new site check box and then click on<br />

the large button for pulse doppler instruments.<br />

The Pulse Doppler Connect window will appear.<br />

4. Enter a site name and a device name, and select the<br />

radio button for ADFM (Standard or HotTap), accQmin,<br />

or HADFM.<br />

Click OK, and <strong>Flowlink</strong> creates a site window.<br />

5. Click the Connect button, and <strong>Flowlink</strong> starts<br />

communication with the Pulse Doppler instrument.<br />

6. Once connected, <strong>Flowlink</strong> adds the instrument settings<br />

to its database and the site appears in the workspace.<br />

7. Click the Retrieve Data button. <strong>Flowlink</strong> downloads the<br />

stored readings and adds it to the database.<br />

8. NOTE: To retrieve only the data collected since the last<br />

interrogation, press Shift + F8 to open the Retrieve<br />

Options window.<br />
