SHORT HISTORY
LHO was the original station; it operated until 1973 when it was moved to the current location, 1M5. Two other
instruments are operating at LM5: a LaCoste-Romberg earth-tide gravimeter and a Sprengnether horizontal pendulum, both
serving as seismic instruments.
