SHORT HISTORY<br />

ClW operated for about one year (1964-65) at a slightly different locations than the current CJW site.<br />

MHS and MIW have operated jntermittently sinCe thejr jnstallatjon<br />

MVW has been located in two different locations but less than 1 km apart.<br />

IDA, Idaho Array (43.7867 0 N., 113.0225 0 W., elevation l'j24 m), was one of six stations run on a part-time basis; they were<br />

telemetered to Menlo Park after working hours and recorded on Develocorder. This array ran from December 1968 to August 1969.<br />

Many of these stations have also been recorded on magnetic tape at various times, and these records are also available.<br />

Short-term networks in the area of Yellowstone National Park have been established for special studies:<br />

June 3D-July 19, 1975: A 20-element array of short-period vertical instruments recorded on photo paper. Code names<br />

begin with YA, YD. and YL.<br />
