SHORT HIStORY<br />

CHA was activated in 1964 in order to give warning of seismic disturbances that might require radar-antenna realinement.<br />

Poor location, difficulty in obta ining pa rts, and excessive maintenance led to deactivation of the station in January 1974.<br />
