BUI is located in the Star mine at Burke, 700 m below ground surface.
KGI was closed in 1975 for approximately 6 months and its equipment moved to an ad.iacent mine \,;ithin the Sunshine mine.
MIlT is at the lucky Friday miPf and origipal)y had a lohnson-Matheson S-1O seismometer 00 loaD from the USGS ft was
converted to the present equipment ill 1971.
WAL is at the Galena mine and originally had a Johnson-Matheson 5-10 seismometer on loan from the USGS. rt was converted
to the present equipment in 1970.
