Should not create any humming noise/vibration/sparking etc. (vi) New carbon brushes / rocker arms/ spring, slip ring, commutator to be procured from as per sample & make / OEM make, / manufactured as per sample. Sample to be approved prior to fitment. Check quality, type, model, sizes, shape & as per IS standards/ requirement/ OEM make (vi) Check for fitment, installation, connection & insulation. (i) Check for Cable lugs, numbers, ferrules, PVC / metal sleeve, identification tallies & terminals, terminals base and connector (ii) Cable lugs should be tinned copper conductor and heavy duty current carrying capacity to be used / as per circuit diagrams/ requirement. Cable lugs should be proper size, rating, type(I type, U type & O type) for proper connection. Copper lugs Dowell’s make / reputed make to be used.. (iii) Cable / wire terminals should be numbered as per circuit drawing. (iv) Cable lay out should be compact/ suitable and secured by cable ties/ cable channel/ casing capping./ conduit pipes. Cable tie, PVC / Metal pipes, casing and capping and cable channel to be procured from reputed make /OEM make confirming IS standards, New material should be durable, suitable, reliable, heavy duty and quality material.
