E­20009 Both rudder stock bush clearances to be checked.
On completion renew gland packing as per sample
(Mat­Greased Hemp/cotton grease, complete 05
turn, rudder stock dia­ 110 mm).
E­20010 If clearances found beyond permissible limits,
withdraw rudder stocks and renew bushes,
sleeves, repair rudder journals and restore to
design clearances. Details of bushes and sleeves
as below.
(i) Bushes: Mat ­ GM BS 1400, LG 3C;
Length ­ 260 mm; ID ­ 122 mm; OD ­ 152
mm
ii) Sleeves: Mat ­ Phosphor Bronze BS 1400­PB
1C; Thickness­ 6 mm; ID ­ 110 mm, Length­480
mm; shrunk fitted;
E­20011 Steering hydraulic motor driven pump(Type­ M 4)
to be overhauled and gears, shafts, bearing seals,
02 in nos electrically operated maneuvering valves
to be renewed (Type­ S 35 P, 24 V DC, make­
Tenfjord). (Working pressure­ 40 Kg/cm2, testing
pressure­ 60kg/cm2).Prove pumps post
overhauling. ).
E­20012 Overhaul and repair steering hand operated wheel
pump (Type­ H 33) and transmitter, renew worn out
parts as per MQC inspection. Prove the pump for
satisfactory operation.
E­20013 02 in nos gear box lub oil coolers to be removed,
chemically cleaned, pressure tested & fitted back
on completion. Defective tubes to be blanked Qty­
02, Test Pressure­ 10 Kg/ cm2. ).
