GLOBAL TENDER NOTICE NO. DPR/MW/105025 DATED 27 Dec 2012
PROCUREMENT OF SAFETY HARNESS INDUSTRIAL FOR EOD (EXPLOSIVE
ORDNANCE DISPOSAL) EQUIPMENTS
1. Sealed Quotation in two Bid System (Commercial and Technical) are invited from
OEM/reputed suppliers for supply of EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Safety Harness
Industrial.
2. Period and Terms of Delivery 06 Months from effective date of contract on
CIF/CIP/FOR basis.
3. Cost of the Tender/Bidding document Rs 1000.00 (Indian Bidders) and USD 25.00
(foreign bidders) non refundable by way of Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque/IPO in favor of
Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Navy), Mumbai.
4. Place(s) and timing of sale documents Tender can be obtained from Directorate of
Procurement, Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Navy), Room No. 416, ‘C’
Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi – 110011. Telephone No: +911143712915/ 20310677/
23010237 on all days except for Saturday /Sunday /Govt. holidays between 1000 Hrs to 1600
Hrs till 27 Feb 13.
5. Address of the Website Tender document can also be downloaded from Naval Web­site

6. Place and deadline for receipt of tender Tenders should be dropped before 1300 Hrs on
28 Feb , in the tender box marked as the “TENDER BOX ­DPRO” kept at near the gate No.1
(Opposite DRDO Building), Sena Bhawan or sent by registered post at address mentioned at Para (4)
above.
7. Place, time and date for opening of tenders. Place, time and date for opening of Tenders
will be intimated to the suppliers separately.
8. Amount and form of bid security/Earnest money deposit Security/ Earnest Money i.e.
Rs. 07Lakhs and USD: 13,000.00 in case Indian and Foreign vendors respectively by way of
DD/FDR/Bankers Cheque/Bank Guarantee in favour of Principal Controller of Defence Accounts
(Navy), Mumbai as per Form DPM­13.
9. Conditional tender shall not be accepted.

10. The participants who download the Tender documents from the Naval web site have to pay
the cost of tender document in the form of Demand Draft in addition to earnest money.
11. Dates of opening of commercial bids will be intimated to technically qualified firms only
after evaluation of technical quotes.
12. Purchaser reserves the right to reject any tender documents without assigning any
reason.
