<strong>Good</strong> <strong>Practices</strong> <strong>and</strong> InnovATIONS <strong>in</strong> <strong>Public</strong> <strong>Governance</strong><br />

wrote the case studies on Italy’s Mobile Counter for Disabled <strong>and</strong> Elderly People <strong>and</strong><br />

Italy’s Youth <strong>in</strong> the Law Hall; Nigera Reaves wrote the case study on Korea’s Women-Friendly<br />

City Project; <strong>and</strong> Patricia Whelan wrote the one on Waterfuture <strong>in</strong> Australia.<br />

Monica Chavez, graduate student at Columbia University, <strong>and</strong> Lois Redman-<br />

Warner provided support <strong>in</strong> the f<strong>in</strong>alization of the 2010 section of this publication by<br />

check<strong>in</strong>g facts <strong>and</strong> figures, contribut<strong>in</strong>g to the editorial work <strong>and</strong> lay-out.<br />

With respect to the years <strong>2003</strong>-<strong>2011</strong>, a number of authors contributed to the elaboration<br />

of the case studies. Adriana Alberti prepared the case studies for the years 2006<br />

to 2008. Valuable contributions were provided by Olivier Munyaneza, UNPSA Adm<strong>in</strong>istrator<br />

until 2009, Ariane De Lipkowski a former Associate Expert <strong>in</strong> <strong>Governance</strong>,<br />

<strong>and</strong> Sarah Sher who also prepared case studies for this publication. Peggy<br />

Brice Bayetassa, United Nations <strong>in</strong>tern at DPADM/DESA provided support <strong>in</strong> proofread<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

Adm<strong>in</strong>istrative support was provided by Mary-Elizabeth Danseco.<br />

In f<strong>in</strong>aliz<strong>in</strong>g the case studies, the DPADM team relied on <strong>in</strong>formation submitted by<br />

the <strong>2003</strong>-<strong>2011</strong> UNPSA w<strong>in</strong>ners as part of their evaluation, along with <strong>in</strong>formation<br />

from official websites <strong>and</strong> UNDESA reports of technical meet<strong>in</strong>gs on <strong>in</strong>novations.<br />
