Description<br />

Without knowledge shar<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the culturally l<strong>in</strong>ked, Portuguese-speak<strong>in</strong>g countries<br />

best practices would go unrecognized <strong>and</strong> underappreciated. Launched <strong>in</strong> 2008, the<br />

Common Knowledge Network (RCC) is available at www.rcc.gov.pt. RCC helps<br />

build <strong>and</strong> develop the knowledge society, promot<strong>in</strong>g the shar<strong>in</strong>g of knowledge, experiences<br />

<strong>and</strong> best practices with<strong>in</strong> the public adm<strong>in</strong>istration. The project is based on<br />

active participation <strong>and</strong> collaborative <strong>in</strong>volvement of public bodies, central <strong>and</strong> local,<br />

private entities <strong>and</strong> citizens, from Portugal but also from other Portuguese speak<strong>in</strong>g<br />

countries, who wish to participate.<br />
