Bylaws<br />
Article I. Organizational Structure – General Level<br />
creation of any new Conference subject to the approval<br />
of the Council of Bishops.<br />
i. The Executive Committee shall investigate allegations<br />
that reflect on the character of the members of the<br />
Council of Bishops and settle differences without a trial<br />
when possible.<br />
j. The Executive Committee shall investigate differences<br />
between clergy and/or laymen of separate<br />
Conferences and settle differences without a trial when<br />
possible.<br />
k. The Executive Committee shall review the ruling of a<br />
presiding official if the ruling is appealed to the<br />
Executive Committee. The decision of the Executive<br />
Committee may be appealed to the Council of Bishops.<br />
l. If any organization other than a network or group of<br />
churches desires to be a part of the International<br />
Pentecostal Holiness <strong>Church</strong> at the General level, the<br />
Executive Committee shall negotiate an agreement<br />
with the organization that establishes the provisions<br />
under which the organization will be a part of the<br />
International Pentecostal Holiness <strong>Church</strong>. Such<br />
agreement shall be subject to the final approval of the<br />
Council of Bishops.<br />
F. General Elected Officials<br />
1. General Superintendent<br />
a. Overview<br />
1) The General Superintendent is the primary vision<br />
caster for the International Pentecostal Holiness<br />
<strong>Church</strong>. His spiritual leadership is reflected in the<br />
biblical ministries of apostles and bishops. His<br />
administrative functions are reflected in the<br />
contemporary language of chief executive officer.<br />
2) The General Superintendent shall serve as the<br />
chairman of the Executive Committee.<br />
