Article III. Organizational Structure – Local <strong>Church</strong>es<br />
8) If a local church chooses to establish other boards<br />
and committees, membership on such boards and<br />
committees will be subject to qualifications<br />
established by the Local <strong>Church</strong> Administrative<br />
Council.<br />
2. Other Models of Local <strong>Church</strong> Leadership and<br />
Organizational Structure<br />
If a Senior Pastor and local church body, in a duly<br />
convened business session, determine that a different<br />
organizational structure would enhance their local ministry,<br />
the church may submit a proposal for an alternate structure<br />
to their Conference Executive Council for approval. The<br />
Conference Executive Council shall approve alternate<br />
structures presented if the structure meets the following<br />
criteria:<br />
a. The structure is in harmony with the Articles of Faith<br />
and the financial guidelines of the International<br />
Pentecostal Holiness <strong>Church</strong>.<br />
b. The structure provides for adequate accountability.<br />
c. The structure is in compliance with the Conference and<br />
General Conference delegate structure of the<br />
International Pentecostal Holiness <strong>Church</strong>.<br />
