Article III. Organizational Structure – Local <strong>Church</strong>es<br />
appeal to the Conference<br />
Superintendent.<br />
(c) When members move from one locality<br />
to another, they should be encouraged<br />
to transfer their membership to the<br />
Pentecostal Holiness church of their<br />
choice in the new locality.<br />
(d) Local church members shall be<br />
granted a letter of transfer from one<br />
Pentecostal Holiness church to<br />
another, or they may be given a letter<br />
of commendation to another Christian<br />
body by a majority vote of the Local<br />
<strong>Church</strong> Administrative Council. When<br />
signed by the Senior Pastor and<br />
secretary, this letter is valid for ninety<br />
(90) days, and the person named in<br />
the letter retains his membership in the<br />
local church that granted the letter until<br />
the transfer is completed. When the<br />
transfer is completed, the Senior<br />
Pastor of the local church where the<br />
letter originated shall be notified by the<br />
receiving church immediately. When a<br />
letter of transfer is requested and not<br />
received within thirty (30) days, the<br />
Senior Pastor receiving the member<br />
shall notify the former Senior Pastor<br />
that a change has been effected.<br />
(7) No church or Local <strong>Church</strong> Administrative<br />
Council shall make any rule pertaining to<br />
finance contrary to standards set by the<br />
General Conference or Conference in<br />
Conference session.<br />
(8) The Local <strong>Church</strong> Administrative Council or<br />
designated finance committee will set the<br />
Senior Pastor’s compensation package<br />
(salary, housing allowance, insurance,<br />
