Bylaws<br />
Article III. Organizational Structure – Local <strong>Church</strong>es<br />
Associate Pastor and accepts said position<br />
shall submit to and support the vision and<br />
ministry of the Senior Pastor. Any Licensed<br />
or Ordained Minister who is an Associate<br />
Pastor in a local church remains a member<br />
of the Conference and is ultimately<br />
accountable to the Conference.<br />
(2) An Associate Pastor shall meet the<br />
qualifications of a Local <strong>Church</strong><br />
Administrative Council Member. If,<br />
however, the Associate Pastor is a<br />
credentialed minister of an <strong>IPHC</strong><br />
Conference, the tithing requirement shall<br />
apply to the Conference instead of the local<br />
church.<br />
(3) The duties and method of selection of an<br />
Associate Pastor shall be established by<br />
the Senior Pastor in consultation with the<br />
Local <strong>Church</strong> Administrative Council.<br />
(4) Any local church, Conference, or church<br />
institution seeking to recruit and/or hire an<br />
associate minister from a local church shall<br />
first confer with the Senior Pastor of the<br />
local church where the associate has been<br />
serving.<br />
6) Local <strong>Church</strong> Administrative Council<br />
a) The size of the Local <strong>Church</strong> Administrative<br />
Council shall be determined by the church body<br />
in a duly convened business session and shall<br />
consist of at least the following members:<br />
(1) Senior/Lead Pastor, chairman<br />
(2) Secretary/Treasurer (one or two persons<br />
may hold the offices of secretary and<br />
treasurer)<br />
(3) At least two additional Council members<br />
