Bylaws<br />
Article III. Organizational Structure – Local <strong>Church</strong>es<br />
(4) The Senior Pastor shall have the authority<br />
and responsibility to counsel with and<br />
correct any church official, elected or<br />
appointed, who may not be meeting or<br />
promoting the requirements of the local<br />
church, Conference, or General<br />
Conference.<br />
(5) The Senior Pastor shall have the authority<br />
to remove any elder, deacon, or official<br />
found to be out of harmony with the<br />
International Pentecostal Holiness <strong>Church</strong><br />
<strong>Manual</strong>, after consultation with the<br />
Conference Superintendent.<br />
(6) The Senior Pastor shall inform the<br />
Conference Superintendent when a<br />
credentialed minister on a pastoral staff is<br />
removed, resigns his position, or accepts a<br />
ministry position at another church.<br />
(7) The Senior Pastor is the chairman of the<br />
Local <strong>Church</strong> Administrative Council and<br />
ex officio chairman of all ministry boards.<br />
(8) Where a local church is incorporated, the<br />
Senior Pastor shall serve as president of<br />
the local corporation and as the chief<br />
executive officer.<br />
(9) The Senior Pastor is responsible for the<br />
mission/vision of the church and presenting<br />
the programs designed to build it spiritually,<br />
numerically, and financially. The Senior<br />
Pastor or appointee(s) shall meet annually<br />
with ministry leaders, councils, or boards of<br />
the local church for the purpose of setting<br />
goals for the church and developing plans<br />
to reach those goals.<br />
(10) The Senior Pastor has the privilege of<br />
authorizing expenditures up to an amount<br />
