Bylaws<br />
Article II. Organizational Structure – Conferences<br />
Pentecostal Holiness <strong>Church</strong>.<br />
b. If approved by the Council of Bishops, the revised<br />
structure must then be approved by the Conference in<br />
Conference session.<br />
C. EVUSA Districts<br />
When applying other provisions of these Bylaws to churches in<br />
an EVUSA District, the Executive Director of Evangelism USA<br />
shall be the Conference Superintendent, and the Evangelism<br />
USA Ministries Division Council shall be the Conference<br />
Executive Council. An exception shall be that the Executive<br />
Director of Evangelism USA shall not be considered a<br />
Conference Superintendent member of the Council of Bishops.<br />
D. Pastoral Appointments<br />
1. Pastoral appointments will be made according to one of<br />
the following tracks. The Conference Superintendent or his<br />
appointee shall meet with the Local <strong>Church</strong> Administrative<br />
Council to determine the best method of selection. Pastoral<br />
candidates may be considered from any Conference in the<br />
International Pentecostal Holiness <strong>Church</strong>. In all situations,<br />
Senior Pastors and churches are subject to the appointing<br />
powers of the Conference.<br />
a. Track 1: The Conference Executive Council may<br />
appoint Senior Pastors to local churches in<br />
consultation with the Local <strong>Church</strong> Administrative<br />
Council.<br />
b. Track 2: The Conference Executive Council may<br />
appoint Senior Pastors to local churches in<br />
consultation with the Local <strong>Church</strong> Administrative<br />
Council and election by the local congregation.<br />
c. Track 3: The Local <strong>Church</strong> Administrative Council may<br />
appoint a pastoral search committee to offer<br />
candidates to the local congregation. This committee<br />
shall initiate its work with the Conference<br />
Superintendent and work through the Conference<br />
Superintendent in making contacts with its candidates.<br />
