UK Ordination
A magnificent milestone for the advancement of IPHC in the UK was an
Ordination Service on the 9 th of March in London. Five men and one woman were ordained. Three
men were licensed. Also significant was the recognition and honoring of Jasmine Crilly as a licensed
minister of IPHC Australian (not a transfer). Chris Friend, head of IPHC in Australia, sent a testimonial
and commended her officially as their missionary. This was a well attended celebration with many
already showing interest and an interview with two new candidates already conducted by the IPHC-UK
Executive Board.
Brussels: There is action on three fronts, with Mauricio and Lulu Salazar and their Logos Church
and Logos Bible School, Bert Phagan developing the Praise Centers ( 6 of them) and Bill
Schwartz planting the newest work.
Logos: ( Salazars)
In a highlight of success, Milton and Lilia Ybañez are Latinos that have lived in Europe for many years.
Before the present financial crisis that started in Spain about three years ago they were successful
business people and ran a small construction and real estate business and crew. They owned several
houses but the situation deteriorated and they lost everything and came to Brussels searching for
opportunities. They came here to the IPHC Logos Church in Brussels, attended and completed their
theological training while working a secular job and now are getting ready to go back to their home
country in Peru to the city of Cusco where God has called them to establish a new IPHC church as
missionaries from our Logos Church. Praise God because we are in the midst of the storm arriving to this
key point in the life of the church.
We are currently training this couple in the DCPI course so they can be more effective in their church
plant.
The Bridge: (Bill Schwartz)
Our new International Church plant is progressing well. We are still meeting as a weekly
ConnectGroup. In addition, we are holding worship services twice a month (2nd & 4th Sunday).
We are moving forward to full every week services. Also, we have regular prayer meetings and
fellowship night. In April we conducted our first evangelism event. We have also started a new
ConnectGroup for University students.
So far since January there have been 17 persons that have received Christ…..not bad for a
Church that hasn’t even launched yet.
