Income for these purposes includes, but is not limited to, salary, housing allowance, utilities paid by World Missions Ministries, and honoraria. Talmadge Gardner, Chairman, Dr. Barbara Carter, Charles Craig, Wayne Kirby, Preston Mathena, Dean Morgan, and Danny Nelson Keith Gilliam, Russell Board, and Dan Clowers Dr. Harold Dalton, Steve Cofer, Matt Bennett, Judy Williams, Bob Cave, Ernest Turner, Max Barroso, Joe Delport, and Ron Wooten Dr. Harold Dalton and Judy Williams Prior to the start of the Council meeting, members were given a tour of the Africa Development Center. The Chairman called the World Missions Ministries Council to order at 9:20 a.m. In his opening remarks, Bishop Gardner thanked Council members for their support of World Missions Ministries and for coming to South Africa to witness first-hand the Centennial Celebration of IPHC’s ministry influence in South Africa. He also welcomed Max Barroso, Director of The Awakening; Joe Delport, Regional Director of Southern Africa; and Ron Wooten, Regional Director of Eastern Africa, to this session of the WMM Council. The Chairman concluded his remarks by thanking Rev. Ernest Turner, WMM Continental Director for Africa, for hosting this Council session at the Africa Development Center and for everything he had done to make the Centennial Celebration a success, in addition to hosting those who traveled from around the world to be part of the historic event. Bishop Gardner then called the Council to a time of prayer. He asked Council members to remember fellow Council member Keith Gilliam and his family in their prayers, and to ask the Lord for wisdom and direction as they meet with the Dunnings, who are career lay missionary candidates, and consider the reassignment of the Akermans and Ramseys, who are current career missionaries. Bishop Gardner thanked the Lord for his faithfulness in enabling Charles Craig to make the trip to South Africa and be a part of this session after having to miss the previous session to undergo a successful knee replacement surgery. He also expressed thanks for the faithfulness and provision of finances to fund the vision and ministries of WMM in 2012. The Chairman asked Preston Mathena to begin the prayer, to be followed by a time of specific intercession for each continent as directed by Danny Nelson, Dean Morgan, Wayne Kirby, and Matt Bennett, with a concluding prayer by Bishop Gardner.
