The Vision
Welcome…
We have just completed two of the most significant decades in our 110 year history! Not only have we
multiplied believers and churches at the rate of 285% over the past twenty years, we have also
responded to the challenge from God to adapt, mature and take our rightful place within the Body of
Christ.
In spite of the dramatic changes over the past two decades, we cannot rest yet. We know that these
exceptional growth figures are possible only because of the grace of God at work on our behalf. “Unless
the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Unless the Lord keeps watch over the city, the
watchman stands guard in vain.” Psa. 127.1 (REB)
The Lord of the Church, the Master Builder, continues to nudge us out of our comfort zone and into new
areas of endeavor. We, like the workman rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, must learn to rest at our
respective stations, always at the ready with our weapons in hand.
Vision2020 did not originate with the 26th General Conference at Greensboro, NC. It is the third
generation of a powerful, prophetic call from the Lord which began with a small group of leaders in 1983.
