For compatibility reasons it uses the same probes as the ones developed some years ago and used in many research laboratories all over the world [29]. The meter has memory capable to store about 1000 data points that can be labelled for identification. The operation of the meter is by a five-pushbutton keypad that controls the display by means of user-friendly software. A small lithium-polymer rechargeable battery commonly used in mobile telephones supplies the device.
